Juventus’ hopes of signing Dusan Vlahovic again are slipping away as he is now open to moving to Besiktas after they spent weeks insisting on adding him to their squad.

The Serbian remains one of the top players in the game, but he has been without a club since the end of June, when his deal at Juventus expired and was not renewed by the club.
The striker has done well over the last few terms and has been one of the key men at Juventus before his contract expired, so the Old Lady would take him back if he wanted to return.
The club has left that door open because Luciano Spalletti considers him one of the top players in his team since arriving in Turin, but they have not reached an agreement over his return.
Besiktas step up their pursuit
For at least a month, Besiktas have been trying to sign Vlahovic and reunite him with Vincenzo Italiano, but the Serbian had been waiting for teams such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
That was a boost for Juventus because if none of those clubs made their move, Vlahovic could ask to return and accept the offer they made to him several months ago.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, the striker is now warming to a move to Turkiye and is prepared to agree to join Besiktas after the Turkish club spent the last few weeks insisting on signing him.
The change in Vlahovic’s position could now make it more difficult for Juventus to bring him back to Turin. The Old Lady had kept the door open for his return, but his willingness to consider Besiktas suggests that another opportunity could now be closer to completion.
Juventus could lose their chance
Vlahovic’s situation has remained uncertain since his Juventus contract expired, but Besiktas have continued to push for his signature. Their persistence could now be rewarded if the Serbian accepts their proposal.
For Juventus, this represents a potential setback. The club would still be prepared to welcome him back, but they have not been able to reach an agreement with the striker, and his changing stance could see him move elsewhere.
With Vlahovic now open to joining Besiktas, Juventus may need to accept that their former striker could continue his career away from Turin. The door remains open from their side, but the Serbian now appears increasingly likely to choose another destination.
