In the closest matchup of the day, Blue Mountain (2-0, 2-0) eked out Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (1-1, 1-1) by one stroke at Indian Hills Golf Course.
Lourdes’s Vivian Reiprish led all golfers in the match with a 75.
Blue Mountain’s Connor Roeder led the Eagles with an 81. Owen Crossen finished the day at 83, Dylan Knittle an 84, and Zane Morgan finished at 88.
For Lourdes, outside Reiprish, Rylan Wolfgang had an 85, Walker McGinley scored an 86, and Marshall Mirachi finished with a 91.
Minersville 327, Weatherly 332
At White Birch Golf Course, Minersville (1-0, 1-0) was able to get by Weatherly (1-1, 1-1) narrowly 327 to 332.
Garrett Sukeena and Emma Troutman both finished 74s for the Battlin’ Miners. Sheldon Fickes finished with an 88 and Trista Tourtman, a 91.
For Weatherly, Chance Stauffer had a final score of 77 while Eli Brown had an 83, with both Brad Connors and Jacob Hinkle recording scores of 86.
Maian 304, Mahanoy Area 342
Marian Catholic (1-0, 1-0) started their season with a win over Mahanoy Area (1-1, 1-1) 304 to 342 at White Birch Golf Course.
All four Marian golfers finished with scores under 80. Carter Grant had a match best score of 70. Patrick Bonner finished with a 76, and both Brayden Grant and Collin Yurkanin finished with scores of 79.
Connor Bowman led Mahanoy Area with a 76. Mike Gambone and Declane Kane both finished the day with a score of 87 and Kale Rowan had a 92.

Panther Valley, Pottsville, North Schuylkill and Tamaqua met at White Birch Golf Course Friday.
North Schuylkill (3-0, 3-0) was the lone team to win both of their matchups after Jace Jackson finished with a 74 and Dylan Cairo with a 77. Stephen Minahan had an 83 and Sam Klingerman an 84 for the Spartans.
Tamaqua (2-2, 2-2) saw Sam Vinc have the best score of any Schuylkill League scorer with a 66. Jacob Fritzinger with an 81, Brody Boyle an 87, and Mason Evans a 91.
Pottsville (1-2, 1-2) had Danny Markus lead the day with an 83, Brody Kline an 87, Connor Woll an 87, and Colton Oswald with a 91.
Michael Demyanovich led Panther Valley (0-4, 0-4) with a 85. Spencer Shirer had an 87 while Braden Flanagan finished the day with a 92 and Callie Koscilek finished with a 95.
