The 23-year-old signed a contract until June 2031.

"We're delighted to have signed Giannis, a talented attacking player whose development we have been following for some time. At 23, he is still a relatively young player, but one who already brings a lot of experience," managing director of sport Lars Ricken said.

According to media reports, Dortmund paid a transfer fee of around €32 million ($37.08 million).

Last season, he played 40 matches for PAOK across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists. He made his debut for the Greece national team in 2023 and has since played 18 games and scored four goals.

"I'm looking forward to playing for Borussia Dortmund. It's a big club and I will give everything to be successful here," Konstantelias said.

Dortmund kick off the season in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup against Bayern Munich on Saturday. Their first Bundesliga match is on August 29 against SV Hamburg.
