Golf fans can now secure their place at the 2026 Nedbank Golf Challenge, with tickets on sale for the tournament at Sun City’s Gary Player Country Club from 3 to 6 December.

Known as “Africa’s Major”, the Nedbank Golf Challenge will once again bring an elite international field to South Africa, with the tournament offering a $6 million prize purse.
The first five confirmed stars are England’s Justin Rose, American big-hitter Bryson DeChambeau, Norway’s defending champion Kristoffer Reitan, South African rising star Casey Jarvis and England’s Marco Penge.
Ticket prices
General admission tickets are available for each day of the tournament, with prices ranging from R250 to R500:
- Tuesday, 1 December – ProAm Day 1: R250
- Wednesday, 2 December – ProAm Day 2: R250
- Thursday, 3 December – Round 1: R450
- Friday, 4 December – Round 2: R450
- Saturday, 5 December – Round 3: R500
- Sunday, 6 December – Round 4: R500
General admission provides access to Sun City and the Gary Player Country Club, as well as public viewing areas, general grandstand seating, the practice range, hospitality village and the official Pro Shop.
Each adult ticket also includes complimentary entry for up to two children under the age of 18, making the tournament an option for families looking to experience the action.
Star power at Sun City
The 2026 tournament is shaping up to be another major attraction on the South African sporting calendar.
Rose, a former US Open champion and Ryder Cup star, will return to Sun City, while DeChambeau will make his appearance at the event. Reitan will also return to defend the title he won in 2025.
For South Africa, much of the attention will be on Casey Jarvis, who heads into his Nedbank Golf Challenge debut after a breakthrough season that has included back-to-back DP World Tour victories and a career-best tied sixth-place finish at The Open.
Major changes to Gary Player Country Club
This year’s tournament will also showcase significant improvements to the Gary Player Country Club.
The course has undergone the most extensive enhancements in its history, including a new first hole and changes to the practice range ahead of the tournament.
The 7 000-metre course has hosted the Nedbank Golf Challenge since 1981 and remains one of South Africa’s most renowned championship layouts.
For fans wanting a premium experience, hospitality packages are also available, with Hospitali-TEE Lounge packages starting at R8 250 per day for Thursday and Friday and R8 950 for Saturday and Sunday.
The 2026 Nedbank Golf Challenge promises four days of world-class golf, with some of the biggest names in the sport descending on Sun City in December.
