Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Cash Jones went undrafted in the 2026 NFL draft, but Jones is still battling for a roster spot on the Atlanta Falcons. Jones made his presence felt in Atlanta's 34-6 preseason Week 2 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Jones finished the contest with over 100 total yards. The rookie took seven carries for 41 yards and averaged over five yards per carry. Jones was Atlanta's leading receiver. He posted for receptions for 62 yards and scored a touchdown.

Jones displayed what he has to offer to the NFL on his 13-yard touchdown catch. Jones, who is an excellent receiver and projects as a third-down back in the NFL, took a play action fake and then hauled in a pass. He beat a Colts defender to the pylon for a touchdown.

"As far as rushing goes, Tyler Goodson now has a stranglehold on the RB3 spot for the Falcons' depth chart," Tim Weaver of Falcons Wire wrote. "Cash Jones managed to flash as a pass-catcher and return specialist, at least."

Jones showed potential along with second-round pick Zachariah Branch, who had two catches for 15 yards in Atlanta's win.
