MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNW) – The Kansas State soccer team earned its fourth straight win to open the season with a 2-0 shutout win over South Dakota State Sunday afternoon at Buser Family Park.

The Wildcats played with a player advantage for the final 70 minutes of the match as the Jackrabbit goalkeeper picked up a red card for denying a scoring opportunity.
K-State opened the scoring in the 29th minute when Chloe Dillbeck played a beautiful pass ahead to Rilyn Rintoul up the right sideline, and Rintoul centered it to Langley Mayers, who scored it. The Cats pushed the lead to two in the 52nd minute when Gabby DeMers scored on a centering pass from Lauren Moylan.
KSU goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing set a school record with her 11th career shutout. It also marked her 11th win at K-State, which is tied for the most by a Cat keeper.
K-State remains at home for its next match with Nebraska on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
