All the Toronto restaurants BTS visited during Arirang World Tour

As the kids say nowadays, BTS ate up Toronto.

But the K-pop supergroup also ate their way around the city.

BTS, in town ahead of their two shows last weekend at Rogers Stadium, managed to sample menus downtown and in North York, near the concert venue.

The seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — took in some of Toronto’s more popular restaurants but also supported small businesses because South Koreans know their food and flavour was not to be trifled with.

Whether individually, only some members or as an entire group, BTS went to several establishments (that we know of).

The group shared some spots on their own Instagram accounts but the restaurants themselves respectfully waited until after BTS had left the city to share updates about their famous guests.

Here’s where they ate:

Daldongnae (658 Bloor St. W.)

BTS members loved this spot so much they went four times, including once as a full group, the restaurant shared on their Instagram .

The popular chain has served authentic Korean BBQ in Canada since 2017, with sizzling meats grilled right at your table. Undoubtedly, the late-night hours were also a plus.

The restaurant has four locations — in Koreatown, Yonge and Dundas, Yonge and Sheppard, Yonge and Cummer, two in Mississauga and four outside the GTA in Waterloo, London and two in Ottawa.

Brown Donkatsu (487 Bloor St. W.)

BTS went to the Bloor West location but the restaurant known as the original Korean Donkatsu house has two other locations in the city (Bay St. and Dundas St. W. and North York) as well as Markham and Mississauga.

Katsu, in case you didn’t know, is a Japanese culinary term for “cutlet” and Brown’s breadcrumbs are baked daily using fresh, never frozen, meats and seafood served with a variety of sauces, including carbonara and curry.

According to a recent Google review of Brown’s Bloor spot, which was shared by the restaurant on Instagram , RM and J-Hope ate there, giving some lucky diners a view to go along with their dishes.

Shinta Japanese BBQ (5095 Yonge St.)

Located on the second floor at Empress Walk, the all-you-can-eat joint promises the finest Wagyu and Angus cuts of beef as well as premium seafood all expertly prepared.

Shinta also has locations in Mississauga and Richmond Hill.

Mapo Gamjatang (630 Bloor St. W.)

Mapo , which specializes in Korean pork bone soup, has locations in Scarborough and North York, but RM visited the Bloor location and noted how nice it was.

The restaurant shared the news on their Instagram , thanking RM for checking them out and wishing the band all the best on the rest of their tour.

Gyodong Restaurant (694 Bloor St. W.)

Open since 2024, Gyodong serves up authentic Korean-style jjamppong and jjajangmyeon featuring a smoky, rich broth that is slow-cooked daily.

It also has a second location now open in Mississauga.

Woojoo Bunsik (6026 Yonge St.)

It’s Toronto’s destination for the bold and authentic taste of Korean street food, according to Woojoo’s website , specializing in their signature tteokbokki, a beloved Korean classic, as well as hearty dishes like chicken bokki and other street food favourites.

The space is known to be cozy and inviting, and the perfect place to grab a quick snack or sit and languish during a relaxing night out.

J-Hope, V, and Jungkook visited their location at Yonge and Finch but there are three other locations you can check out: Bloor and Spadina, Yonge and Wellesley and in Thornhill.

HWARO Korean BBQ (332 Yonge St.)

The seven members also hit HWARO , which isn’t opening until next week, giving it the kind of promotion restaurants dream of.

Pizzeria Badiali (181 Dovercourt Rd.)

And it wasn’t all Korean and Japanese food the band savoured.

V also shared pics of himself and his bandmates chowing down on different kinds of slices from the neighbourhood pizza shop which stands out for its classic pies.
