Bam Adebayo Urging Heat Front Office to Bring Back Guard Who Had His Best Year With Them in 2023

The Miami Heat have made significant signings in the last week but they might add more if they are ready to listen to Bam Adebayo.

The Heat’s latest movements are centered around their new superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo who they acquired in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks last June. He needs shooters and the team gave him Tim Hardaway Jr.
The latest signings are Klay Thompson who is expected to be on starting five and Nick Richards who will support the frontcourt.
Adebayo will be the Greek Freak’s main help on the court but he reportedly wants to help the front office, too. An NBA insider said the three-time All-Star has a player in mind to help strengthen the roster.
“We heard out there that Bam Adebayo is really pushing the Heat’s management to bring Gabe Vincent back, and so he remains unsigned, very limited opportunities out there in terms of teams that still have roster spots available,” Clutch Points’ Siegel said.
“I would think that if they are going to bring in a guard, Gabe Vincent would be at the top of the list there.”

He last played for the Atlanta Hawks but is now a free agent.

Vincent will complete the 15-man roster of the Heat in case he gets signed. He will fill the guard role.
For now, the Heat’s biggest focus should be on the team chemistry as coach Erik Spoelstra has a virtually new team after giving up their core to get Antetokounmpo.
Spoelstra recently said that he will not have difficulties in incorporating the four-time champion to his system given the player’s caliber.

“For myself, I’m going to get so many great looks. . . . It’s almost limitless what we can do,” he said during his introductory conference (via Ira Winderman).
“Coming into this building gives me a whole new jolt of energy.”
