Avengers: Secret Wars Adds Noah Jupe to Highly Secretive Cast

Avengers: Secret Wars has added Noah Jupe to its cast in an undisclosed role.
According to Deadline, Jupe has been tapped to join the cast of one of the biggest movies on the horizon ahead of a shoot date later this year. The role is expected to play a "key part" in the story of the film. Absolutely no details were provided on who he's playing, but that doesn't mean we can't speculate, right? The most immediate guess is he's part of the new X-Men cast. Marvel announced a bunch of members of the next X-Men film at D23, which includes Sadie Sink, Adam Driver, Kit Connor, Inde Navarrette, and a handful of other up-and-coming stars.

Jupe is 21 years old, which means he would fit in quite well with the other X-Men cast members. He also starred alongside Sadie Sink in a stage version of Romeo and Juliet earlier this year. However, there are a lot of questions over whether the new X-Men will even be in Secret Wars. If Jupe isn't part of the X-Men, he could be a character like Nova, who is getting his own standalone film in the future. It's anyone's guess right now, and given that Marvel tried to keep Sadie Sink's role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day under wraps up until release, we may not know until the film comes to theaters in December 2027.
Noah Jupe has made a name for himself with the Quiet Place franchise, Hamnet, and a number of other high-profile projects. He's the first person to be formally cast in Secret Wars, as we're not sure who will survive Avengers: Doomsday and appear in the sequel. It seems like a safe bet to imagine Robert Downey Jr. will return as Doctor Doom and the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans will return as Thor and Captain America respectively, but beyond that, it's hard to say. Evans has already teased a "brutal" story for Cap in Doomsday, but it's unclear what that looks like at the moment.
Avengers: Infinity War killed half of its cast, meaning most of the characters didn't return until the third act of Endgame. It wouldn't be surprising if the returning X-Men cast from the Fox-era films are killed off in Doomsday, but Marvel will likely keep all of this under wraps until it releases. Either way, the Marvel universe appears to be expanding in exciting ways.
