Black Bears re-sign defenseman Ramaekers for season

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The Binghamton Black Bears announced it re-signed a member of their last three Commissioners Cup winning teams.

Scott Ramaekers is now the third defenseman signing ahead of training camp this fall.
He began his career as a Black Bear playing as a forward, but last season switched to a full-time defenseman.
Ramaekers spent a lot of time on the ice last season, as he was one of two players to play in every regular season game.
He scored 16 goals, five of which came on power plays, and recorded 31 assists on the season.
In the playoffs he played eight of nine games, missing one due to injury.
He scored two goals in the finals and is now back on the roster ready to try and bring the fourth straight cup back to Binghamton.
