Liverpool are in a new era.
Andoni Iraola is the man to lead them forward with an exciting young squad. And there are key people behind the scenes tasked with giving him all the tools he needs.
Liverpool building an exciting new team
Thanks to the work of Pedro Marques and Matt Newberry Liverpool have evolved their scouting across the world and are starting to recruit some of the best young players on the planet.
We've seen the Reds sign Armin Pecsi, Will Wright, Mor Talla Ndiaye, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, Samuel Martinez and Djylian N'Guessan over the course of the last 12 months.
On top of that, Liverpool also broke the U23 transfer record for a goalkeeper to sign Lucca Brughmans.
There are more players on the club's radar as well. Sidy Barhama Ndiaye is expected to join Liverpool when he celebrates his 18th birthday in January 2028.
Michael Mulholland is also expected to join the Reds from Northern Ireland side Crusaders.
And Liverpool are eying more potential moves as well.
Liverpool blown away by Gambian duo
The Reds have recently invited two trialists to the club's U18 and U21 side. Musa Jatta and Sheriff Bah spent two weeks in Liverpool training with the club's academy.
They joined from BST Galaxy after Liverpool scouts observed them in action.
Jatta is 16-years-old, meanwhile Bah recently turned 18-years-old and has also been called up to Gambia's U20 national team.
Both of them are midfielders. Jatta is a box-to-box player meanwhile Bah is more of a no.10. He's been a regular for BST Galaxy playing in Gambia's senior top tier.
Foday Manneh reports that Liverpool were impressed by the duo, especially their technical qualities. Jatta has attracted interest from Europe and Bah having turned 18-years-old is also free to move.
