As Oak Grove football defensive lineman Deven Robertson celebrated a sack late in the second quarter against Hattiesburg, his crimson-colored, Oklahoma Sooner-branded gloves provided a pop of color that was a contrast to Oak Grove's all black uniforms.

The Oklahoma commit and the rest of the Warriors' defense were dominant in Oak Grove's 36-20 win over Hattiesburg on Sept. 12.
"We've got a good defense," Oak Grove coach Drew Causey said. "We've got guys over there that are really, really good."
The Warriors (2-1) held Hattiesburg (1-2) to 287 yards of total offense and forced two fumbles, one of which they returned 35 yards for a touchdown.
"The defense came and we played as a group," Robertson said. "We weren't selfish, we all came and played as one and played with effort."
Robertson, a 6-foot, 333-pound defensive lineman, helped clog the middle of the line of scrimmage, holding Hattiesburg to 45 rushing yards.
"Our defensive coordinator was preaching to us to knock back the center," Robertson said. "Strike through them, shed the block and make the play."
Robertson's sack in the second quarter was one of three sacks for Oak Grove's defensive line.
"I just got through there, man." Robertson said. "Made the sack."
On the other side of the football, was quarterback and Old Dominion commit Kellen Hall making plays for Oak Grove. The senior QB threw three touchdowns in the win, including one perfectly thrown deep ball that receiver Jakylynn Moody caught and turned into a 71-yard TD reception.
"They were (playing) far off," Hall said. "Then I checked (Moody) to a go, because we had hitches. I checked him to the go route. I looked the safety off and then I came back to him. I'm going to trust him and trust him to go get it. I gave him a chance and he did what he did."
Oak Grove finished with just 75 yards and one touchdown on the ground, so the offense leaned more heavily on its passing attack. Hall completed 17-of-31 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns.
His other touchdown passes included a 19-yard connection to senior tight end Slade Gillentine in the first quarter and a short pass to senior receiver Kendrell Roberts in the second quarter.
"It's crazy because I've never really been around this much talent at wide receiver," Hall said. "We got a lot of chemistry going on, you know, we stayed up here at the field all summer. We've got it down pat and I feel like we're going to keep getting better and better every day."
