Inactive list for Steelers-Falcons Week 1 matchup revealed: Who's in, who's out

Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, rejoice! The Week 1 regular season opener Atlanta Falcons has finally arrived, as has the game day inactive list, giving us a better idea of who's in and who's out from Sunday's matchup.

Courtesy of the newly revealed Week 1 inactive list, Pittsburgh's side of the ball has cornerback Joey Porter Jr., quarterback Drew Allar, offensive lineman Gennings Dunker, defensive lineman Gabriel Rubio and defensive lineman Kevin Jobity Jr. all inactives. Quarterback Will Howard is also inactive but will serve as the emergency quarterback. Porter's absence was strongly implied by ESPN's Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport earlier in the day, with Asante Samuel Jr. getting the starting nod in his place.
For the Falcons, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. defensive back Billy Bowman Jr., defensive back Malcolm DeWalt Jr., linebacker Christian Harris and offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa all made the list, most of which should come as no surprise as Tagovailoa, Penix, Williams, and Bowman were ruled out on the Week 1 injury report. With the Falcons down two quarterbacks, Cooper Rush will get the starting nod. But his condition will be one to watch during the game, as he was dealing with back spasms on Saturday.
