No. 3 Notre Dame is hosting the Michigan State Spartans tonight, and the Irish defense has once again been opportunistic.

The Irish had a Luke Talich interception in the first half, and now safety Adon Shuler has one.

Unfortunately, Notre Dame couldn't turn the turnover into points, due to a missed field goal, but Shuler's pick snuffed out a Spartans drive early in the fourth quarter -- meaning Michigan State lost a chance to cut into the Notre Dame lead with timing running out.
