Some have described Indian master criminal Lawrence Bishnoi’s army of minions in Canada as “unsophisticated.”
The more uncharitable among us call them “dumb.”
Case in point? That would be Jashandeep Singh, 25, an Indian national who came to Canada as a (cough, cough) student in December 2022. And now cops are using his stupidity to ensure he gets a deserving send-off.
Found inadmissible to Canada
Edmonton police allegedly used video captured on social media from a birthday bash to link a distinctive handgun to a Surrey, B.C. shooting, court documents revealed.
Now, Singh is before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) . He was found inadmissible and ordered deported in July after cops alleged he was associated with Bishnoi’s transnational criminal enterprise.
The explosive documents obtained by CBC News arrive at a crucial juncture for Bishnoi and co. After years of having the run of the country with new recruits flooding in daily, it appears Canada has reached its limit.
Nearly 200 Bishnoi soldiers and lieutenants — engaging in terror, extortion, drugs and murder-for-hire — have been ordered out of the country. So far, at least 111 have been given the heave-ho.
“We have a dedicated team that is targeting the Lawrence Bishnoi Group. They are among our highest priorities and thankfully, there’s finally some political will to get the job done,” a Canadian Border Services Agency agent told The Toronto Sun , on condition of anonymity.
Cake and guns at birthday bash
Singh was linked to Arshdeep Singh — a Bishnoi middle manager — who was deported from Canada earlier in 2026. It was Arshdeep Singh’s birthday bash that landed our hero in hot water.
The event took place in Edmonton in August 2025, and Arshdeep Singh travelled from Calgary to attend. Among the party games captured on video were passing the handgun before the group travelled to a rural area for more merriment.
Arshdeep Singh is captured in one video firing the handgun into the air at least five times. Hurray! And in a thoughtful touch, a birthday cake was provided and is seen on the trunk of his vehicle.
Cops found the spent shell casings after the video was discovered on social media. That led detectives to a shooting at a Surrey cafe, which was part of a probe into extortion-related shootings in the Lower Mainland, docs obtained by the CBC said.
Singh denied involvement
The video triggered an avalanche of arrests, search warrants and seizures.
Of course, as is to be expected, Jashandeep “Who? Me?” Singh denied involvement with the Bishnoi at his immigration hearing. As for the video of him holding guns? A joke, get it? Making matters even more hilarious was when he pointed the semi-automatic at another person’s head.
Even for the IRB, Jashandeep was too much; his tale of woe packed with inconsistencies and deemed not credible.
Earlier this month, a 2025 letter from the gang emerged with the claim it had 5,000 “soldiers” on our streets. The spelling- and punctuation-challenged letter reads: “We are giving you a written warning and challenge. We are Indian gang Canada has no guts to stop us is that clear – we will rule in CANADA now no one can stop us we are very powerful.”
It adds in Marvel Comics villain style: “You will see we will takeover CANADA soon.”
Are we getting serious about these criminals?
Former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau oversaw the dismantling of one of the most admired and successful immigration systems in the world. In its place, a tidal wave of foreign criminals facing few repercussions lied, cheated and scammed their way in.
Then they got busy committing crimes.
It may not be the end of the line for Bishnoi and company — a designated terrorist entity — but on a sunny day you can finally see it.
