Head coach Mike LaFleur announced that on Monday.
"Will’s got a neck and potentially could miss the whole season," he said. "Sucks for him, obviously.”
He wasn't sure whether or not Johnson would need surgery, although he did not believe so. He got hit in his neck, LaFleur said.
Johnson will be headed to injured reserve, which likely opens the door for Star Thomas to be signed to the active roster from the practice squad.
In better news, Max Melton, who suffered a foot injury in the game, is considered day-to-day.
