During the tough matchup against Indiana, Napheesa Collier only logged 13 minutes on the floor, finishing with 9 points and 2 rebounds.
With the Lynx managing player loads down the stretch, star rookie Olivia Miles was a late scratch due to a left calf injury. The shorthanded rotation and heavy reliance on the bench completely changed the dynamic of the game, leading to a lopsided result that left Collier furious with how things unfolded.

Napheesa Collier didn’t hold back when she stepped up to the podium, letting her frustration pour out completely. She delivered a brutally honest reality check for the entire locker room about their postseason goals, with inconsistency hitting at the wrong time.
She said: “It’s embarrassing. We should be disappointed and embarrassed about the product that we put on the floor tonight. Not proud of what we did. We know that what we did was unacceptable. I emphasized how proud I was of the group that came in and got us back to the game.
“I’m very proud of what they did, but we let them down tonight. So we apologize for that, and we just talked about, like, these things cannot happen. We had just met about the things we want to get done in the postseason, and we didn’t do any of those things.”
With Cheryl Reeve clearing out the bench early, other regular starters like Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams also sat down alongside Collier after minimal minutes, leaving the heavy lifting to the reserves.
Interestingly, the Lynx turn right around and play the Indiana Fever again this Thursday in Minnesota for their regular-season finale.
