The Minnesota Lynx did not put up much of a fight against the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, suffering a lopsided defeat, 96-77, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Lynx got buried early, with the Fever outscoring them in the first quarter, 31-16. Minnesota rallied in the third quarter, but Indiana did not fold, going on another surge in the final frame to complete the 19-point win.
After the game, Napheesa Collier did not hide her disgust with their performance, as reported by ESPN’s Kareem Copeland.

“It’s embarrassing. We should be disappointed and embarrassed about the product that we put on the floor tonight. Not proud of what we did,” said Collier.
She finished with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting and two rebounds.
Chloe Bibby top-scored for the Lynx with 15 points on five three-pointers. Liatu King added 12 points, four rebounds, and three steals.
Minnesota played without Olivia Miles, who is dealing with a calf injury.
The Lynx, who dropped to 32-11, trailed by as much as 29 points in the first half. It was the first time they fell behind by more than 20 points this season.
They shot 38% from the field and surrendered 21 points off 17 turnovers. Coach Cheryl Reeve benched her starters for the majority of the second half.
Caitlin Clark starred for the Fever with 27 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and four steals. Kelsey Mitchell tallied her 27th consecutive game with at least 20 points. She added three rebounds and four assists.
The Lynx and the Fever will meet again on Thursday at Target Center to close out the regular season.
