Rich Eisen shares likelihood of the Giants trading Seattle for Drew Lock

The New York Giants have been left with a real headache at quarterback after Jaxson Dart has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

However, Dart’s injury has really put a spanner in the works for the veteran head coach, who will now have Jameis Winston as his QB1 for the remainder of the season.
Winston’s showing on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams will have a lot of Giants fans concerned about their season now having a very low ceiling.
Former Giants QB Drew Lock is excelling for the Seattle Seahawks, and with Sam Darnold potentially set to return this weekend, there have been some suggestions of a trade.

Lock has been in sensational form, with his showing in the desert against the Arizona Cardinals proving he is still better than some of the current NFL starting quarterbacks.
However, Rich Eisen firmly believes the Seahawks would laugh at the notion of trading away Lock.
“The Seahawks are 2-0 with their backup. So they’re going to just, what, flip Drew Lock back to the Giants and say, if Darnold can’t answer the bell, it’s Jalen Milroe’s time?” said Eisen.
“Nobody is going to do what Giants fans are hoping somebody does.”
From Lock’s point of view, it would leave an interesting possibility given he is set to return to the sideline as Darnold’s return nears.
A return to the Giants could be a short-term option to continue playing as a starting QB in the NFL, but potentially only until the end of the season.
On the flip side, he is currently in an environment like no other up in the Pacific Northwest, which has seen Lock thrive under the leadership of Mike Macdonald.
