Kelsey Mitchell’s record streak of consecutive games scoring 20 or more points ended Thursday night at 27.
Mitchell scored just 10 points in 21 minutes against the Minnesota Lynx in the Fever’s regular-season finale. Mitchell, along with the rest of the starters, did not play the majority of the second half, as they were down by 30 points at halftime.

Her record started on June 22, when she scored 22 points against the Phoenix Mercury. The streak saw highs with eight 30-point games (including two 37-point outings) and persevered through close calls, like when she needed overtime against Atlanta on Aug. 16 to hit the 20-point mark.
Mitchell recorded her 21st consecutive game with 20 or more points on Aug. 21, scoring 37 points against Dallas to break Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson’s former record of 20 straight.
Mitchell’s prolific scoring was on display for the entire league during that streak. She joined Wilson this year as the only players in league history to score 1,000 points in a season, and Mitchell holds the single-season total points record with 1,086.
Mitchell also set a record for 3-pointers made in a single season with 135, breaking a record that Atlanta's Rhyne Howard just set on Sept. 17.
