The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to take one hit after another when it comes to injuries, as the team just ruled out one of their young rookies for the Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Courtesy of Friday's injury report, which included initial game statuses for Week 3, the Steelers ruled out rookie third-round guard Gennings Dunker with a knee injury, a setback that seemingly came out of nowhere.

Dunker, who was drafted by the Steelers with the 96th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, popped up on Thursday's injury report with his knee injury. Dunker has been a healthy scratch for the first two games of the season his availability would've still been important in Week 3, as starting right guard Spencer Anderson is playing through a broken bone in his leg.
