The Norsemen played physical soccer all game, collecting three yellow cards and bullying Eastern Oklahoma off the ball at a high rate.
Possession and chances would swing back and forth though, and Eastern Oklahoma would threaten with their own set pieces, including free and corner kicks.
The Noresmen's goalkeeper Pedro Branquinho kept the clean sheet despite that pressure, and would give his squad time to find the back of the net late.
And after a long shot on goal in the 83rd minute, A&M's Zach White would find that game winning goal after that shot was tipped out by Eastern's goalkeeper.
Eastern Oklahoma wouldn't be able to come back after that and the Norsemen would take the match by a close margin.
NEO will take on Murray State College their next time out on Sep. 30, in Tishomingo, OK.
