Goalkeeper Ena Mahmutovic has been called up, while Giulia Gwinn and Franziska Kett join her in defense. Klara Bühl and Linda Dallmann complete the quintet.
Elsewhere, starting goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger will be rested following consultation with the coaching staff. Whether this means Mahmutovic will play in either of the games remains unclear. Arsenal’s Lisa Baum also received her first-ever senior national team call-up.

Germany will play Australia in Karlsruhe on October 9th before facing Japan four days later in Bremen. The Bayern quintet will likely face off against their club teammate Momoko Tanikawa. Meanwhile, the U-23s will play Scotland and Sweden, with each match taking place a day earlier than the senior team’s fixtures.
