Odell Beckham Jr.'s Giants teammates confident he'll ‘make statement elsewhere’ following release

Odell Beckham Jr’.s time back with the Giants came to an end on Tuesday.
Beckham made the reunion a reality after grinding his way through the offseason program, earning himself a spot back on Big Blue’s season-opening depth chart.

His role in the offense ended up being nonexistent over the first three games, though.
Despite chants of his name raining down from the MetLife Stadium crowd, the veteran receiver went without a catch and was targeted only one time, as he played just 11 percent of the offensive snaps in his brief return.
So on Tuesday, both sides decided it would be best to go their separate ways.
Despite Beckham’s lack of on-field involvement, he was still a loved and well-respected figure within the Giants locker room, so his teammates were sad to see him go.
“Man, I just wish him the best,” Kayvon Thibodeaux said. “He’s a legend in the game and he’s fought so hard to make his way back in this league -- he’s definitely going to make a statement somewhere, I’m not worried.”
“Hearts to him,” Isaiah Likely added. “Obviously I love playing with O, I played with him in the past -- a couple of years in Baltimore, I was blessed to play with him again here -- hopefully wherever he ends up he does what Odell does.”
Now that Beckham has been cut loose, he’ll hit the open market once again, and look to see if he can find more of a role elsewhere around the league.
