The even better news — no one won Tuesday night’s $65-million jackpot, which means this Friday’s jackpot has reached a whopping $70 million.
Winner, winner, caviar with dinner
That said, there were still some big winners after yesterday’s draw.
The winning ticket(s) featuring numbers — 06 – 10 – 13 – 22 – 23 – 43 – 49 and the bonus 17 — may not have been claimed, but the second prize worth $111,209.90, which would have boasted six of the seven winning numbers plus the bonus, was sold in Richmond Hill.
Three of the eight Lotto Max Maxplus winners, each ticket worth $100,000, were sold in Ontario — specifically, in Brantford, Elgin County and Simcoe County.
There was also one Encore winning ticket worth $100,000 that was sold in Brampton.
No Maxmillions prizes were handed out, so there are an estimated 10 $1-million prizes up for grabs, while there are about 70 $100,000 Maxplus prizes available.

Last Friday’s Lotto Max draw also had some big winners, including one lucky Maxmillions winner who purchased their ticket in Stoney Creek, while a ticket sold in neighbouring Hamilton has the winning Encore number worth $100,000.
A second-prize winning ticket, worth $273,317.60, was sold in Bowmanville, as well as three Maxplus winning tickets worth $100,000 each were sold in Woodbridge, Oshawa and on OLG.ca, while two Maxplus tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold in Kitchener and on OLG.ca.
The winning tickets from Sept. 25 were 08 – 24 – 38 – 41 – 43 – 50 – 52 and the bonus 07.
How to play
Since 2009, Lotto Max players in Ontario have won more than $10 billion, including 125 jackpot wins and 1,004 Maxmillions prizes, OLG said.
For each $6 play, LOTTO MAX players receive four selections of seven numbers ranging from 1 to 52.
The additional $1-million Maxmillions and $100,000 Maxplus prizes are just the cherry on top.
Customers can purchase their tickets directly on OLG.ca or at authorized retailers until 10:30 p.m. on Friday night.
