Texas A&M reveals alternative camouflage uniforms vs. Arkansas

· Yahoo Sports

Texas A&M dropped to 2-2 and 0-2 in SEC play after falling to Kentucky at home and LSU on the road, looking lifeless in the second half against the Tigers and suffering a 35-6 blowout that sent shockwaves and massive disappointment through the dedicated Aggie fan base. Still, with eight regular-season games to go, they still have time to turn things around.

Looking to end the two-game skid, the Aggies have turned the page to Arkansas, hosting the Razorbacks in College Station for the first time since 2020. On paper, Texas A&M is the better team, but it hasn't played like it, giving Arkansas a legitimate shot at an upset. However, based on third-year coach Mike Elko's comments this week, I expect the Aggies to play with a much more focused, aggressive approach.

Set to celebrate the 150th-anniversary kickoff against the Razorbacks, the Aggies will wear what can only be described as interesting camouflage helmets, jerseys, maroon pants, and camo cleats, which sparked plenty of reactions from nearly every college football fanbase this week, most of which were negative.

While much of this focus on a new uniform stems from Texas A&M's failures on the field, it really doesn't matter what the players wear when a season is on the line. Heck, maybe these new digs will spark something in Texas A&M's offense and defense on Saturday night?

On Thursday, the Aggie media released its final video reveal of the alternative uniformers, featuring transfer kicker David Olano.
