‘We were trying to win…’ – Former Steelers star takes a shot at Mike Tomlin after Minecraft revelation
· Yahoo Sports
Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has gone viral after he revealed his Minecraft city and one of his former superstars has something to say about it.
Mike Tomlin spent 19 seasons as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning one Super Bowl during his career. It turns out, that’s not all he was doing during that time.

Tomlin never had a losing season during his tenure in the NFL, which is almost hard to believe. Achieving that takes talent, intelligence, and above all, an all-encompassing dedication to greatness.
It seems that ‘Coach T’ did find the time for one of his hobbies, though. His recently revealed Minecraft city has drawn reactions of wonder and also some digs from the NFL world.

Le’Veon Bell played for the Steelers from 2013-18. During his time there, he was one of the league’s best running backs, dominating defenses as the Steelers tried to win it all.
Bell and Tomlin shared a good relationship throughout his time with the Steelers, although things went south for Le’Veon generally before he departed. He has now responded to his former coach’s video.
“We were tryna win super bowls and coach T was on minecraft building cities,” Bell posted on X with a crying emoji in front of it.
When Le’Veon had left for the New York Jets, he had claimed at the time that Tomlin ‘wants to win’. One has to wonder if this recent revelation would now change his stance.
For Tomlin, it would make sense to have a productive hobby outside the chaos that an NFL season brings. Considering that he was plenty successful in his career, Bell’s jab might be a little misplaced.
