Vincent Blake scored a pair of TDs on fumble recovery returns to lead Booker T. Washington to a 54-6 dismantling of Lincoln Prep (2-3) in Grambling.

The Lions (4-1) also got a trio of TDs from Kentrell “KJ” Johnson along with four TD passes and a rushing TD from quarterback Devion Stewart.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the U.S. House Mike Johnson made an appearance at the Calvary/Loyola game on Friday and Haughton's Taylor Weathersby led his team to a big win on Thursday.
North DeSoto 56, Northwood 13: The Griffins (5-0) saw Mason Smith complete 16 of 26 passes for 190 yards and four TDs, including three to Braylon Moore in the win. Hayden Bell rushed six times for 123 yards and a score while picking up an interception on the defensive side. Steven Sims and Khy Johnson added TDs versus the Falcons (1-4).
Benton 31, Byrd 28: The Tigers’ Malachi Zeigler passed for 189 yards and a TD while rushing for 90 yards and another score to lift Benton (3-2) to the win. Madden Raymond scored twice in the fourth quarter to erase Byrd’s lead for much of the contest. Collin Deere returned to the Jacket (0-5) lineup and produced 178 yards.
Airline 32, Natchitoches Central 29: Airline QB Chase Williams ran for two TDs and found SirCharles Marshall for a scoring pass in the Vikings (4-1) tight contest with the Chiefs (0-5). The Chiefs managed two TDs from KJ Newton, along with single scores from Kaden Kuykendall and David Newton, along with a 2-point conversion from Jace Hale.
Franklin Parish 38, Huntington 36: The Raiders (0-5) nearly knocked off state ranked Patriots (4-1), which handled Airline last week. AJ Johnson had more than 150 all-purpose yards and two TDs, while Bryan Washington tossed three TD passes.
Lakeside 40, Plain Dealing 0: A big night for the Warriors (3-2) saw Levi Bogdan pass for two TDs and Malik Thorn rush to two scores in the win over the Lions (0-5). Senior Eric Jones caught a 46-yard TD pass and returned an interception 25 yards for a score. Foreign exchange student Levi Lelke drilled a 42-yard field goal.
Minden 21, Woodlawn 14: The Tide’s Kentrell McGlothern scored on a 20-yard run with 1:28 remaining to allow the Tide (5-0) to remain undefeated against the winless Knights (0-5). Jardon Carey and Jayden Posey also scored for Minden. Jaden White and Ian Clark had TDs for Woodlawn.
Evangel 46, Captain Shreve 0: The Eagles (3-2) pitched a shutout at the struggling Gators (2-3) who have lost in successive weeks. Peyton “Pop” Houston had a big night for ECA with three passing and a rushing TD with Kionte Mims and Seth Collins adding rushing TDs.
St. Mary’s 23, Winnfield 14: St. Mary’s (5-0) remained undefeated for first-year coach Jacob Carruth behind TDs from John Paul Thibodaux, Jacob Thibodaux and Preston Tilley, along with a field goal from Carter Hogg against the Tigers (3-2).
Glenbrook 50, Peabody 31: Braxton Tibbitt tossed TD passes to Brayson Festervan and twice to Darron Hollingsworth for the Apaches (2-3) against the Titans (1-3). Hollingsworth also had a 60-yard punt return TD.
Red River 30, Logansport 24: The Bulldogs (1-4) picked up their first win of the season and it came against previously undefeated Logansport (4-1). CJ Haskett scored two TDs, while Lathyn Lewis had a pick-6 and Ashton Johnson and Trajalen Demery added scores.
Cedar Creek 22, North Webster 21: A late 7-yard TD run by the Cougars’ (5-0) Payton Harris was the difference against the Knights (1-4). Touchdowns by Jquarion Easter, Jeremiah Washington and Jakayden Jackson gave the Knights the chance to pull off the upset.
Ruston, Bossier, Haynesville, Ringgold win Thursday contests
Dalen Powell scored on runs covering 13 and 20 yards to lead Ruston to a 29-2 victory over West Point (Miss.) High School in Ruston.
The Bearcats (4-1) also got a 51-yard TD run from Kohn Gray in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Quarterback Sam Hartwell hit LSU commit Ahmad Hudson for a 14-yard TD as the Bearcats piled up almost 300 total yards against West Point (0-5).
Bossier 34, Southwood 12: The Bearkats (3-2) kept the Cowboys (0-5) winless behind quarterback Montrevell Lewis at Independence Stadium. Bossier got TDs from Braylyn Williams, Demareya Bates and Shaunte Wells in the victory.
Haynesville 48, Union Parish 27: The Golden Tors (3-1) came off a bye week and scored plenty of points on the Road in Farmerville against the winless Farmers (0-5). Moise Critton ran for 146 yards and two TDs, while Ethan Henderson added two scores for the Tors.
Ringgold 50, Northwood-Lena 28: Ringgold (4-0) was explosive offensively against NW-Lena (2-3).
