The Dodgers and Braves head to Atlanta for Game 3 at 6 p.m. ET with the series tied 1-1. This is the kind of game where every pitch suddenly feels a little more important.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto gets the ball for Los Angeles, while Chris Sale starts for Atlanta. Both teams are around -110 on the moneyline.

Sale has been outstanding at home, going 8-3 with a 1.66 ERA. He's also 1-1 with a 1.13 ERA against the Dodgers this season. Yamamoto has also been excellent with an 8-3 record and a 1.77 ERA on the road. Head-to-head against Atlanta, he's posted a 1.42 ERA despite going 0-1 this season.

The Padres have no room for error.

Milwaukee leads the series 2-0, so San Diego needs three straight wins to keep its season alive. Game 3 begins at 9:30 p.m. ET at Petco Park.

The Padres are around -136 on the moneyline, with the Brewers at +113. Nick Pivetta gets the start for San Diego, while Dustin May is expected to take the mound for Milwaukee.

The Padres have their home crowd behind them, but the Brewers are one win away from moving on.

Pick #1: Braves moneyline at -110

Sale's home numbers and track record against Los Angeles give Atlanta the edge. He's been extremely effective at home and has already limited this Dodgers lineup this season.

Pick #2: Dodgers at Braves Under 3.5 runs at +105 for the first five innings.

I'm also looking toward the first-five under because both starting pitchers have shown they can limit these offenses. Sale has been excellent at home, while Yamamoto owns a 1.42 ERA against Atlanta. This bet also avoids relying on either bullpen for the full nine innings, or the risk of extra innings.
