Tropical Storm Isaias alters Alabama, Florida high school football games

It's been a quiet summer and fall in the Gulf and Atlantic Ocean as there have been no recorded hurricanes documented in what's been described as an unusual year by most meteorologists.
That streak without a tropical storm or hurricane ends this weekend as Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to strengthen into a hurricane and make landfall somewhere between the Alabama and Florida coast later in the week.

With the storm incoming, a good number high school football games in both states have been moved from Friday night, Oct. 9, to Thursday night for precautionary reasons.
According to a report from Ben Thomas of AL.com, more than 45 games in Alabama have been moved so far with the list expected to grow.
A majority of the rescheduled games come from schools along the coast. According to the report, of the near 50 games that have been rescheduled, 27 come from the Mobile and South Alabama areas.
Florida hasn't had as many games rescheduled yet. The current games that have been rescheduled to Thursday include Baker County at Suwanee, Fort White at Madison County and Northview at Blountstown.
