The FIA has revealed the full extent of the changes made to Isack Hadjar's and Fernando Alonso's cars ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, with both drivers facing pit lane starts after their teams breached parc fermé regulations. The modifications include several power unit components and suspension adjustments, with a third car also affected.

According to the FIA technical delegate's report, Hadjar will use a new internal combustion engine, turbocharger, exhaust set and power unit ancillary component for Sunday's race.

The Red Bull driver's new engine is his eighth of the season, exceeding the permitted allocation of four. He has also taken his seventh turbocharger and seventh exhaust set, both beyond the four allowed under the 2026 regulations, as well as his eighth power unit ancillary component, exceeding the permitted six.

The report further confirms that all power unit elements on Hadjar's car were replaced without the approval of the FIA technical delegate, in breach of Article B3.5.4 of the Sporting Regulations.

Alonso, meanwhile, has taken his sixth turbocharger of the season, exceeding the permitted allocation of four. The Aston Martin driver experienced power unit problems throughout Saturday's running, with the team deciding to make changes ahead of the Grand Prix.

Suspension changes trigger pit lane starts

Beyond the power unit replacements, the FIA confirmed that suspension setup changes were made to both Hadjar's and Alonso's cars without the technical delegate's approval. The same applies to Lance Stroll, with all three drivers set to start from the pit lane.
