“Two Interceptions Written All Over It”: NFL Fans React to Jameis Winston’s Raincoat Outfit Ahead of Giants vs Commanders Matchup
· Yahoo Sports
New York Giants (3-1) quarterback Jameis Winston showed up in a blue raincoat outfit at Northwest Stadium for Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Commanders (1-3). Winston took over as the starting QB after Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 2.

Winston has done well over the last two games, helping the Giants secure back-to-back wins. The QB will look to extend the winning streak against a struggling Washington team today.
SNY Giants posted a video of Winston arriving for the game, and fans on X were quick to react. Last week against the Arizona Cardinals, Winston completed 18 of 29 passes for 250 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
“That’s got two interceptions written all over it,” a fan wrote.
“Sunglasses and a raincoat…?” a fan wrote.
“Throw only to Giants players please,” a fan wrote.
“Dude is one of a kind…for better or worse!” a fan wrote.
“2 INTs or 3 TDs no in between with this outfit,” a fan wrote.
In three games this season, Jameis Winston has completed 55% of his passes for 479 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions. According to StatMuse, Winston ranks ninth among quarterbacks in interceptions thrown this season. New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye tops the list with seven.
Despite that, the Giants are in a better position than they were at this point last season. They had a 1-3 record after the first four games of the 2025 NFL season, whereas they have lost just one game so far this season.
Jameis Winston Wants to Keep Getting Better
Jameis Winston hasn’t been a primary starting quarterback in the league since leaving Tampa Bay after the 2019 season. He has now got an opportunity to make his mark in Jaxson Dart’s absence, and Winston is trying to make the most of it.
The quarterback was happy with the win against the Arizona Cardinals but noted that he wants to continue improving for his team.
“My desire is still to get better and better,” he said, per SI. “It felt good to get a win (against Arizona), but I desire to be so much better for this team and to play faster, to play more precisely, to really be my very best, and I just want to keep getting one percent better every day.”
Winston can turn things around for himself by helping the New York Giants make their first playoff appearance since 2022.
