One X/Twitter account shared the video and wrote in the caption: “An angry Atlanta Dream fan went to the Nike Store (Lennox Mall) in Atlanta to show how the Atlanta Dream merch was being put in a corner behind a Caitlin Clark display: ‘We are in the WNBA Finals, the ATL merch needs to be switched with CC’.”

Within the video, the supporter says: “They got Caitlin Clark stuff here in the front. Atlanta Dream stuff, barely over here in the corner. Make it make sense, we are going to the WNBA Finals. Why y’all ain’t switch?”

She continued: “This is crazy” before adding, “It’s just insane to me, I know they got her [Clark’s] shoes, but come on, why we over there in the corner? Put us up in the front. Give us the front merch, come on Nike. I love y’all. Can we do better?’

A number of fans have since responded to the video, including one who wrote: “Those tables are like 5 feet from each other.”

A second commented: “It’s literally the same size table and clothing rack.”

Another tweeted: “‘Why are they all the way in the corner’ while they are literally right next to each other in the middle of the store.”

“It’s not in a corner. If customers don’t want it, you can’t make them,” stated a fourth.

A fifth tweeted: “Her stuff sells, yours doesn’t, easy.”

Fans also mentioned that Caitlin Clark has a deal with Nike, launching her Caitlin 1s earlier this month.

The first colourways were released on October 1 and it was reported at the time that they ‘nearly sold out less than two hours after its release’.
