The Swedish striker has scored five goals in sixPremier League appearances so far this season, bouncing back from an injury-impacted debut campaign at Anfield.
Isak scored 20+ league goals in each of his last two seasons at former club Newcastle, but said he has no target in mind this time around.
The 27-year-old said his focus is on trying to get 'on the scoresheet for every game' and decide results.
He added that there is more to come from both himself and the Liverpool frontline, which he believes has 'super high' potential. Liverpool have won their last three games in all competitions, scoring 12 times, following a 4-3 win over Villarreal in the Champions League.
“No, not really [I don't have a goal target]. Just try to be on the scoresheet for every game and try to make them count as important ones as well," he toldliverpoolfc.com.
“I think the potential is super high, which is good because I think we can do much better as well so the ceiling is definitely high."
Liverpool face in-form Brighton in thePremier League tomorrow, with the Seagulls on a run of four consecutive league wins without conceding. Isak is anticipating a tough challenge, and believes Brighton are one of the league's best sides.
“It’s definitely one of the tougher opponents that you have in the league but I think in the Premier League in today’s football, there are no easy games.
“So, I don’t think you need any motivation to do that, I think it’s already there. We know it’s going to be tough, but we play at home and we have to go to win.”
