· Yahoo Sports
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final injury report of the week on Saturday in advance of their Week 7 Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles ruled four players OUT: DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks, Nolan Smith, and Michael Carter II.

Smith missed practice all week due to a hamstring injury while Wicks missed practice all week due to an ankle injury. The Eagles being without their top two wide receivers certainly isn’t ideal. The team will roll with Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore, Hollywood Brown, and Britain Covey. The Cowboys’ defense is so bad that these players could still have chances to succeed on Monday night.
Smith missed practice all week while in the concussion protocol. He might be able to return in Week 8.
Carter II has been unavailable since getting injured in Week 5. The Eagles will go with Andrew Mukuba and Cooper DeJean as their top two safeties in base packages with Kenny Moore playing on the back end of the defense in nickel formations.
The Eagles ruled seven players QUESTIONABLE: Saquon Barkley, Landon Dickerson, Jonathan Greenard, Jalyx Hunt, Eli Stowers, Grant Calcaterra, and Jakorian Bennett.
Barkley was full go on Saturday after being limited on Thursday and Friday. It sure seems like he’s going to give it a go on Monday night.
Dickerson was a full participant in Saturday’s practice. Seems like the Eagles will activate him from injured reserve to start at left guard. If so, it will be interesting to see how he fares after he really did not look great in Week 1.
Greenard did not practice on Friday or Saturday after being listed as limited on Thursday. He talked about being a game-time decision. Even if Greenard does suit up, he’ll likely be on a pitch count. Not great.
Hunt was limited in practice all week. With the Eagles looking thin at edge rusher, it would be nice if he can play. We’ll see.
The Eagles have until 4:00 PM Eastern on Monday to activate any or all of Dickerson, Stowers, Calcaterra, and Bennett from injured reserve in order to play against the Cowboys. The team has some open roster spots to fill, so, we’ll see how they handle things.
Players notably listed without a game status: Dallas Goedert, Drew Kendall, Zack Baun, Hollywood Brown, Jihaad Campbell, Jalen Carter, Britain Covey, Jordan Davis, Arnold Ebiketie, A.J. Epenesa, Fred Johnson, Willie Lampkin, Moro Ojomo, and Tyler Steen.
All of these players were listed on the injury report this week.
Goedert was full go on Saturday after not practicing on Thursday and Friday. With DeVonta and Wicks out, at least Tanner McKee will have the Eagles’ top tight end available to him.
Kendall is set to return to the starting lineup after missing two games. The starting offensive line will look like: LT Jordan Mailata, LG Landon Dickerson (or Willie Lampkin), C Drew Kendall, RG Tyler Steen, RT Markel Bell.
With Nolan Smith out and both Greenard and Hunt questionable, the Eagles only have two edge rushers sure to play on Monday: Ebiketie and Epenesa. The team could also look to temporarily elevate Keyshawn James-Newby to the roster again for more help.
