The Chiefs and Seahawks both have the same goal this season, and for both teams, it is a realistic expectation. Many thought the Chiefs' title window was closed, but they are 5-0 for the year and might be successful after all. The Seahawks won last year, but a 3-3 start has a lot of people doubting how good they can be this year.

Guiding the Chiefs is a healed Patrick Mahomes. Last season, he struggled and ended the year by tearing his ACL. There seems to be no issue with his legs, as he has scrambled and moved well in the pocket. He still doesn’t seem to have a truly elite receiving option, but he makes do with an older but still reliable Travis Kelce. The addition of Kenneth Walker III has made all of the offense more diverse and opened a bit more space for Mahomes to find receivers.

The Seattle Seahawks are led by Sam Darnold. His season started poorly with an injury in the first game of the year. However, he returned to action the next week. He is either hurt or back to making poor decisions. Darnold has thrown seven interceptions this season and just seven touchdowns. He has cost his team at least one game, as last week he threw an interception in overtime that allowed the Broncos to almost immediately be in field goal position. It doesn’t help that their running game is almost nonexistent.

Which quarterback will have the edge in this one? Will Darnold avoid costly turnovers? Will Mahomes figure out a way to attack the best passing defense in football? Make the call with Underdog and wager $10 to earn $50 in bonuses when using promo code FOXNEWS.
