These two teams last met in a 16 – 12 Raiders victory in 2023. The Raiders have won four of the last five games between these two teams. Prior to that the Jets had won six of eight. The Raiders lead the overall series 27 – 20 – 2.
The Raiders opened the 2026 season with a bang, reeling off three straight victories against weak opponents in the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints. After that easy opening stretch the schedule got much tougher. Games against the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams all ended in defeat for the Raiders. The Raiders are now riding a four game losing streak coming into this game. Both teams are looking to bounce back against a struggling opponent. Aaron Glenn and the New York Jets need a home win here badly.
