By now, most NBA fans know that LeBron James appreciates a good wine. Typically, it's an off-the-court interest of his — but not on Monday night.

James, during the 76ers' 126-107 win over the Bulls, had a viral moment where he chased a loose ball toward the stands, then decided to take a sip of wine after colliding with a fan.

Postgame, the fan spoke about the interaction after the NBA's all-time leading scorer crashed into him, then took a sip of wine.

Here's what the 76ers fan said about his viral moment with James on Monday night.

76ers fan details viral LeBron James wine interaction

In the third quarter of Monday's win, James was chasing a loose ball when he collided with a 76ers fan carrying a cup of red wine. James, a known wine enthusiast who has said he drinks a glass a day, then grabbed the cup, took a sip, then handed it back.

Here's another angle of the interaction:

Postgame, James said he "wanted to see if it was worth it on my arm" after the drink spilled.

"It was all right," James said, per ESPN. "Listen, it's a long marathon. If you don't find ways to have fun throughout it, even though you're working, even though you're locked in, then it could wear on you," he said. "So for me, especially at this point in my career too, being able to just appreciate the moments, the small moments.

"These fans are great to us. We try to be great to them as well by playing the game the right way, playing the game hard, and then also just being a showman as well. But it was a great game for us."

ESPN's Kris Rhim also tracked down the fan involved in the interaction, a "longtime Sixers season-ticket holder who grew up with Julius Erving's sons."

The fan, Troy Clemens, described the interaction with James in a video.

"He said, 'My bad.' My drink spilled everywhere, he took my drink from me and he basically just took a sip of it," Clemens said. "I'm just glad for him to be here. I'm not worried about the wine getting on me."

James, through his first six games as a 76er, is averaging 16.2 points, 7.3 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game, with Philadelphia off to a 7-1 start as the early No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The 41-year-old and the Sixers will continue their season on Wednesday against the Pistons.
