The Oklahoma City Thunder have faced one setback after another this season but have still managed to find success. The injuries they have suffered early in the season could easily keep them from getting on track, but they are not allowing that to happen.

Losing three players for an extended period of time, especially three key pieces of their core, is difficult. During one of their most recent games, NBA insider Brett Siegel believed the team looked mentally defeated.

“We'll see how the Thunder look moving forward but man, not even through the first quarter against Houston and this team simply looks mentally defeated. There will be opportunities, especially for Aday Mara, but it's hard to envision them contending with all the injuries," Siegel wrote.

The Thunder have been looking for the right player to add to their roster. Originally, they were expected to sign Ochai Agbaji, but the deal never materialized. On Tuesday, they chose to sign Dalen Terry.

“G/F Dalen Terry has agreed on a two-year deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources tell ESPN. Terry enters his fifth NBA season after the former No. overall 18 pick spent time in Chicago and Philadelphia, and went to training camp with Golden State last month,” ESPN’s Shams Charania posted.

Terry began the summer on the Philadelphia 76ers' roster but was waived to make room for LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

“The Sixers waive Dalen Terry to clear space for LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Terry, a former first-round pick, had a non-guaranteed contract for the upcoming season. Philadelphia must still move one additional player to create enough room for both additions," NBA writer Jake Weinbach wrote.

He also had an opportunity to make the Golden State Warriors' main roster out of training camp but didn't. Before joining OKC, he was with the Warriors' G League affiliate.

Terry is a high-motor guard who should provide quality depth for the Thunder. The team made this move because it believes he can help. Terry takes the final OKC roster spot, so the organization will be hoping it made the right decision.
