Bijan Robinson Chases Acting Dreams Beyond The Field
· Yahoo Sports
While the Atlanta Falcons are fighting for their season, the 24-year-old running back is actively planning his life after the gridiron. He told the New York Post that he is taking serious steps to launch an acting career. He even wants to star in a romantic comedy. This is more than a hobby for a rich athlete. He is enrolling in acting classes to learn the craft from the ground up.

He appeared as himself on the Disney Channel show “Bunk’d: Learning The Ropes” last July. He also made a cameo in the Netflix series “Outerbanks” in October. Those roles were fun, but he wants more. He said he is ready to move past commercials and into serious drama. “I’m willing to kind of explore anything more on the drama side,” Robinson said on behalf of Invisalign.
A Plan for Life After Football
The 2026 season has been tough for the Falcons. They sit at 3-5 after a 16-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Robinson knows the team needs him to be better. He has 780 rushing yards and four touchdowns so far. Yet he refuses to accept praise as the league’s top back. “I’ll be honest, like, I don’t feel like I’m playing like that right now,” Robinson said, in comments shared by Falcons reporter Daniel Flick. He demands more from himself for the offense to succeed.
He launched his own DJ series called “Spin Zone” in September 2024. He sees these projects as a way to grow as a person. “I want to continue to put myself in different brackets of life,” Robinson said. He plans to dig deep into acting classes at the end of the year. He wants to gain the talent and charisma needed to succeed on screen, not just because he is an NFL star.
Advice for Struggling Stars
Robinson uses his own experiences to help others facing pressure. He is in Madrid this week to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, November 8. He plans to meet with Real Madrid soccer stars Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé before the game. Vinícius is going through a slump and dealing with a four-game suspension. Robinson offered simple advice to help the Brazilian player. “I’ll tell (Vinícius), just stay the course. Don’t worry about external noise,” Robinson said. He warned that listening to critics can hurt a player’s mind.
He knows what it feels like to have bad weeks. He told Vinícius to trust that God’s plan for his career would be amazing. “If you have an up-and-down or a low or something like that, we all have those moments and we all had those weeks,” Robinson said. The running back wears number 7, just like Vinícius. They met through a jeweler a few years ago.
