Report: Myles Garrett is 'on track' to play vs. Commanders on Sunday
· Yahoo Sports
The Los Angeles Rams are set to get back one of their best players this weekend. Myles Garrett has been on injured reserve since Week 2 and has missed the last seven games after undergoing knee surgery, but he's trending toward playing on Sunday.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Garrett is "on track to be activated" before Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. If he plays, it will be his first game since the season opener against the 49ers in Australia. Garrett battled knee soreness leading up to the season and the Rams determined he needed surgery after the opener in Melbourne.

In his debut with the Rams, he did not have any tackles or sacks, and recorded three pressures in the loss.
#Rams star Myles Garrett, working his way back from knee surgery that landed him on Injured Reserve, is on track to be activated ahead of Sunday vs. the #Commanders, per me and @RapSheet.

Los Angeles traded Jared Verse and draft picks to the Browns for Garrett in June, but fans have barely gotten a glimpse of him on the field. Hopefully he'll be much healthier when he does suit up than he was in Week 1.
Garrett led the NFL with 23 sacks last year, setting the all-time record for the most sacks in one season. He won his second Defensive Player of the Year award and was voted a first-team All-Pro for the fifth time.
