First Pick: Kentucky +5.5 over Tennessee
Rundown: It’s rare to see a team ranked seven spots higher catching nearly a touchdown, and that line shows the market still hasn’t fully bought into Kentucky. The Wildcats have won and covered six straight, but they’re still being treated like a sizable underdog against a Tennessee team coming off a loss.
I’ll take the points. Kentucky has been scoring consistently during this run, while Tennessee is just 3-2 against the spread at home. The Wildcats have given us little reason to doubt them lately, and +5.5 leaves room for them to keep this game close.
Second Pick: LSU -6 over Alabama

Rundown: This is another matchup where the lower-ranked team is getting the points, but I’m going the other way after backing Kentucky in the first pick. LSU has been far more consistent offensively, averaging 40 points per game, and gets Alabama at Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers have also been much tougher to score on at home, allowing just nine points per game there. Alabama has looked vulnerable against strong defenses this season, and LSU has enough on both sides of the ball to win by a touchdown.
