But things still seem to be trending that way.
Mike North, the NFL's vice president for broadcast planning, told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com this week that the two speculated overseas games for the Bengals are still on the table.
"Certainly, they're a candidate to go play Washington in London, certainly a candidate to go play Atlanta in Madrid. They've got one of those fan bases, thanks in large part to the quarterback, that resonates in Europe and across the planet."
North said next year’s schedule is only about halfway done right now. But the two mentioned games were easy to narrow down previously because of the other overseas games the NFL had already announced.
Still, it’s notable to get someone involved in the process to explicitly call out the Bengals for one or two spots.
