And Vincent Kompany is the man. He has been since day one and this season is a product of his hard work, determination, dedication, passion, and understanding. Sprinkle some humility to top it all off. The Bayern coach is a class act.
Speaking to ZDF after the Pokal fixture against Bayer Leverkusen (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Kompany expressed his joy.
“Since day one, everyone has been talking about Berlin. Being able to bring the club back there is a tremendous gift,” exclaimed the coach.
This team is a cohesive, well-oiled unit. Kompany’s blueprint has brought tremendous success to Bayern in what has been a season to remember thus far. With a Pokal final on the horizon and a tantalizing semi-final clash vs. PSG awaiting Bayern in the UEFA Champions League, the season is far from over.
And Kompany is all set to continue writing history.
