They'll let the situation play out over the next…
"It’s got to be right for both parties," he said. "Odell wants to be a player who makes a difference."
The coach added that he believes Beckham can make an NFL roster but stressed the need for him to have a meaningful impact.
The Giants plan to let the situation develop over the next month and revisit it closer to training camp.
The update follows an April workout in which Beckham impressed team officials during a physical and on-field session. General manager Joe Schoen had said earlier this month that conversations with Beckham’s camp would continue.
The Giants are looking to add veteran depth at wide receiver as they await the return of injured starters, Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton. However, as of now, there has been no additional movement toward a reunion.
