A New York woman has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a police officer who also pleasured himself from the backseat of her own car while he forced her to drive.
Pamelys Aquino made the accusations on Instagram and YouTube, and the New York Police Department is now investigating the alleged incident, the New York Post reported.
Aquino said she was pulled over at about 12:45 a.m. on May 23 for an illegal turn.
She explained that she and her passengers, a female relative and a man with an arrest warrant, were taken to the 44th precinct because her licence was suspended — which she denied on the YouTube video filmed by CopWatch , a group that regularly films police officers and looks for misconduct.
Aquino’s allegations
While her passengers were released after about three hours, Aquino alleged that an Officer Kristopher Recalde with the NYPD’s Community Response Team told her she was to remain at the station.
She said Recalde eventually walked her to her car, before allegedly grabbing her and demanding, “Give me a kiss if you want to get in the car.”
She said on the video, “I gave him a kiss, I got in the car,” and he sat in the backseat and told her to drive.
“I drive up less than a block and ask him something is wrong with me car,” she recounts in her Instagram post before detailing, “He says no and starts to grab my inner thigh as he’s holding his holster.”
She continued: “My heart stopped, my anxiety was everywhere, I was in shock. He tells me to kiss him and that he kept me in the precinct longer because he wanted to be with me.”
Aquino said she tried to stay in the vicinity of the precinct and explained on her Instagram post that as she drove, he was “playing with his penis and squeezing my breast.”
She began crying on the video.
“I was mad. I felt dirty. I felt disgusting. I didn’t want to do what he made me do, you know. I was scared,” she said. “This is what I needed everybody to know. I was scared. I was so f***ing mad.”
She noted that at one point, she was able to get out of the car but he followed her.
She alleged that he then took off his uniform, lay it on the passenger seat, and returned to the back of the car to keep pleasuring himself before she claimed he ejaculated, “leaving his semen in my car seat, my doors,” before he grabbed her again.
Aquino alleged he also offered her money to get in the backseat and have sex with him but she refused, despite her fears as to what he would or could do to her.
She eventually reported Recalde.
Taking on the law
In her post, she included photos of Recalde’s gun belt, vest and other gear in her car, a blurry shot of a hand reaching into the front seat from the rear of the vehicle, and a official police form with the officer’s name on it.
The officer’s duty status has been modified while the department investigates the allegations, an NYPD spokesperson told the Post .
Recalde, who joined the force in 2021, made $82,960 in 2025, according to city payroll records obtained by the outlet.
Last month, he was transferred to a public housing development to watch surveillance cameras, a posting for cops who are dealing with scandals, the outlet reported.
Aquino claimed investigators “swabbed” her car” and detailed that she has spoken to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.
“I promise you I’m not the first person he did this too but I promise you I’m the last one!!!!,” she wrote. “I’m happy this is the end for him.”
