The Atlanta Braves will be well represented at the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, as catcher Drake Baldwin, second baseman Ozzie Albies, first baseman Matt Olson, left-handed ace Chris Sale and closer Raisel Iglesias have all been selected to represent the National League in Philadelphia on July 14.

Atlanta’s five selections are tied for the most of any National League club, highlighting the Braves’ strong first half and their position among baseball’s elite. Baldwin and Albies earned starting spots through fan voting, while Olson, Sale and Iglesias were selected by players and the league office.

Baldwin’s selection is especially impressive. The reigning National League Rookie of the Year has continued his rapid rise, batting .251 with 14 home runs and 39 RBIs while becoming one of the league’s top young catchers. His first All-Star appearance comes in just his second major league season.

Albies is enjoying a bounce-back campaign after battling injuries over the past two seasons. The veteran second baseman is hitting .273 with 14 home runs, 49 RBIs and 55 runs scored, earning his fourth career All-Star selection and first since 2023.

Olson continues to anchor Atlanta’s offense. The first baseman leads all National League first basemen with 22 home runs while ranking among the league leaders in extra-base hits, earning his fourth career All-Star nod. He recently snapped a 16-game home run drought with a two-homer performance against the New York Mets

On the mound, Sale has once again established himself as one of baseball’s premier pitchers. The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner owns an 8-6 record with a sparkling 2.10 ERA, 109 strikeouts over 90 innings and a 1.08 WHIP, earning his 10th career All-Star selection.

Iglesias rounds out Atlanta’s contingent after producing one of the finest seasons of his career. The veteran closer has converted all 17 save opportunities while posting a 1.53 ERA and 1.06 WHIP, earning the first All-Star selection of his 12-year major league career.
