Browns TE Harold Fannin’s ‘arrow is up,’ ‘should be a 100-catch guy,’ but not Top 10
· Yahoo Sports
The future of the Cleveland Browns offense is tied up in the last two draft classes and whoever ends up being the much-desired “quarterback of the future.” While most of the focus will be on the QB competition between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, including folks weighing in from all over the place, the offense has a lot of excitement tied up in RB Quinshon Judkins, TE Harold Fannin Jr., and WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston.

Fannin is the lone certainty in the tight end room heading into the season. A third-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Fannin led the Browns in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns as a rookie. His sophomore season will be all about proving whether that production was mostly due to also having the most targets on the team or whether he can produce while surrounded by more talent.
According to ESPN’s survey rankings, Fannin is not among the Top 10 tight ends in the NFL but is one of a number of young up-and-comers at the position:
“His arrow is up. He’s a chess piece that can maneuver in space. He should be a 100-catch guy.” — NFC executive
The top of the rankings is an interesting mix of young players (Brock Bowers sits at the top) and long-standing veteran tight ends (George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews are all in the Top 10). Andrews (#9) is the highest-ranked tight end in the AFC North, with Pat Freiermuth joining Fannin as honorable-mention players in the AFC North.
Where do you think Fannin will be ranked by the end of the 2026 season? Do you think he already should be considered a Top 10 guy?
