Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando da Cruz earlier this week reunited two youngsters as he handed one of them his official debut.

KAIZER CHIEFS YOUNGSTERS REUNITED BY FERNANDO DA CRUZ
On Wednesday, Amakhosi hosted Sekhukhune United in their first home league match at FNB Stadium.
The Glamour Boys beat Sekhukhune United 2-0, thanks to goals from Luke Baartman and Mduduzi Shabalala to make it two successive league wins.

On the night, Kabelo Nkgwesa made his official debut for Chiefs, and it came a year after his promotion to the senior team was announced.
Nkgwesa, a skilful left full-back, replaced Reeve Frosler in the second, and he immediately fitted like a hand in a glove at Chiefs.
Chiefs have been playing Frosler in that position since the start of the current season due to injuries to their natural left-backs.
Paseka Mako, Bradley Grobler and Nkanyiso Shinga are all injured but with Nkgwesa seemingly ready, that position could easily be filled until they return.

Furthermore, Nkgwesa’s introduction was somehow a reunion for him and Mfundo Vilakazi who come a long way as teammates.
The duo were on the books of amateur side Doornkop Students FC before being recruited by Chiefs for them to join their DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team.
Nkgwesa, 19, made his debut wearing the No.38 jersey, and it’s common knowledge that Vilakazi is wearing the No.28 jersey at Chiefs.
