AIAPGET 2026: NTA Announces Re-Exam For 49 Candidates Affected By Power Failure In Jaipur On September 1

NTA AIAPGET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for 49 candidates who could not complete the AIAPGET 2026 exam due to a power failure at an examination centre in Jaipur.

According to a public notice issued on August 22, 2026, the affected candidates will now appear for the re-examination on September 1 at 10 AM. The re-exam will be held at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.

The NTA said the disruption occurred at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur during the Shift-I examination conducted on August 22. The agency attributed the power failure to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination conducting agency.

AIAPGET 2026 Re-Exam Date And Venue

49 candidates could not complete the exam

The AIAPGET examination was conducted for 36,979 registered candidates in Shift-I on August 22 across the country.

Of these, 35,837 candidates appeared at 200 examination centres. The examination was successfully completed for 35,788 candidates.

However, at Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur, 192 candidates appeared for the examination. A power failure at the centre meant that 49 candidates could not complete their examination.

The NTA has expressed regret to the affected candidates for the inconvenience caused by the disruption.

Revised admit cards to be issued

Candidates eligible to appear for the re-examination do not need to rely on their original examination arrangements. The NTA will issue revised admit cards containing the details required for the September 1 examination.

Candidates should carefully check the revised admit card once it is released, particularly the examination centre and other instructions.
